Hello.
I'm running Snow Leopard on a late 2007 white macbook 3,1/2.2/250HDD/2GB RAM. I really want to try Lion, but don't want to FUBAR my sweet set up as is. Would it be crazy to upgrade to 4 GB RAM, but install Lion on say, a 25 GB partition on the internal HDD so it would dual boot both Lion and SL?
I don't "need" Lion, but want to try it out on my "spare" machine if it wouldn't create a big mess. Perfectly happy to stay with SL - I don't know if I would want Lion as my main OS yet. I really think the machine is better suited for SL.
Am I just asking for trouble? Just looking for opinions.
Thanks!

I don't think you're crazy.

I have 1 partition with Snow Leopard and another with Lion. It allows me to dual boot.

It's actually quite useful at times as long as you have the spare hard drive space.

I might have the nerve to just try it once I get the RAM. I have about 175 GB free after dumping some movies and projects it had on it.
Thanks!
