Hi guys, I have a Macbook 5,2 (2009), model, and it's hard drive failed.

It was installed with Mac os X 10.5.8 with the old hard drive.

I replaced the hard drive and tried to install Mac OS X 10.9 from a USB (which works properly with installations on other Macs).

The MacBook turns off after some progress during the installation, reboots, and goes into kernal panic attack.

I also tried 10.8, same issue.

I do not have the Original Mac OS X 10.5 though :/

How can I resolve this?
