i just got my upgrade DVD for my macbook that i bought recently ,but want to install it on my Mac Pro just to save some money from buying a new one

so i tried to install... but the leopard installer didn't recognize my osx 10.4 disk
its says that it could find my OSx 10.4 in this computer..
i open disk utility on the installer.. my drive its there but there's no Macintosh HD partition on it..
i have one primary drive with tiger installed on it (Macintosh HD in bay 1) and 3 other drive in other bay without bootcamp partition..
after that i can go back to my old tiger without problem with pressing alt key to choose where i want to boot with
hmm dont know what to do..

hmm from what i read in the forum so far its supposed to be same disk.. even if not it still can install leopard if you already have tiger on it.. the disc is 7.11 gb

is it because the DVD supposed to be just for MacBook (spesific machine) or because there's some problem reading my startup disk.. ?
or because it's an "Upgrade DVD"?
also can i do fresh install with this disc?

hmm should i just bought a new one..

please help..

thanks
