install newer leopard on older macbook (1.83/512)?

Hi,

I have an older macbook (white Core Duo 1.83/512 running 10.4.11) upon which I would like to install a newer version of leopard. The install disc I have came with my black macbook (Core 2 Duo 2.4/2GB). This would be 10.5.4 disc "2z691-6248-a".

I am wondering if there is a way to determine which additional drivers would be necessary to make this install, fill in the gaps, and complete the OS install using a disk image or the install discs themselves.
