I was wondering if anyone can be of assistance with my new Macbook Air. I was recently given a Macbook air with a new hd (no operating system Installed). There is no boot up disk/recovery disk/install disk. How can I install an operating system on the MBA without a boot up disk/recovery disk/install disk. Thanks

If you have a Time Machine backup disk you can boot off of that and restore your system that way. I replaced my Mac Mini's HDD with an SSD and did this. Just plug in the Time Machine backup, boot off of it and restore to the fresh SSD. No problem!
