Hi there!
Last year I performed a clean install from a usb stick.
Soon I will do it once again, since I will upgrade my hdd.
I was looking around for the guide I used last time, but can't find it.
Could anyone help me on that?
I need a step by step guide.
Thanks.

I installed Snow Leopard to a 16 GB kingston usb flashdrive some months ago, but something must have gone wrong... I know there's different speeds to flash & usb-memory - but come on! It's so extremely slow! It boots up, but takes eons...

I do not want to boot up from a flash drive. Just perform a clean install from there.
It is normal that it takes for ever. Flash drives aren't exactly intended for that purpose and transfer rates can't be compared to the ones offered by hdd/sdd.
