I just ordered a brand new HDD for my MBP for when Lion arrives :)

But now to the small questions

I have a USB enclosure that i can put the HDD into, can i use that and install OSX on it this way and then install it in the computer when Lion is available?

The old HDD can i put that in the USB enclosure when the new one is ready with Lion installed and just copy the files i need from it? (its the documents, iPhoto library and so on) or is it protected in someway when i have a password on the login (have 2 logins, Wife and Me) for OSX on the old HDD.

Hope someone can help here, sice this is the first time im starting from scratch on a Mac :)

You should be fine with what you're doing. I'm actually doing that right now. I installed the GM on a spare HDD and put that in the enclosure and use it to boot into Lion to play around with it. When Lion officially becomes available, I'm going to reinstall it and if I choose to, will swap HDD's out.
