I've only had my Mac for 2 weeks, so please be patient with me...
I installed Onyx 2.0.4. It now is able to open and be used. The file is in Applications...
It also came with what looks like a Windows shortcut icon called "Onyx 2.0.4 "that would cause an icon to load onto my desktop (looked like a disk icon w/ an arrow in the lower left hand corner). This icon had a sub link called "uninstall Onyx". I now think that file was something I could store in "utilities".
Anyway, I sent the file "onyx 2.0.4" to the trash and emptied it. Am I now unable to uninstall Onyx if the need arises?
Can I just re download and install Onyx, put the app in the app folder, and put the other file "onyx 2.0.4 w/subfolders (including uninstall) into the utilities folder? Would that cause any problems from my 1st install?
Any solutions and guidance would be greatly appreciated.
