Ok, so I have Windows 7 iso on a DVD and it seems to be working because when I inserted the disc while on Windows XP, a menu pops up asking me if I want to install Windows 7 and whatnot. I was wondering if I could just install this way, or do I have to through the whole boot camp process?

You don't need to redo the Bootcamp partition, unless you're in the situation I was in and hadn't allocated enough HD space to Windows for the installation to work. So I deleted the partition and reinstalled XP with more space before running Windows 7. As you're hopefully aware you'll need to back up any XP files since W7 will be a clean install.

What you'll also need to do is insert the OSX CD to get the Bootcamp drivers once Windows 7 is up and running. Pretty painless overall. :)
