Like the other thread MBP installation problem, I have powerbook and get the same set of problems. PB spits out the disc after a minute or so. It does not read even, so I cant even verify whats on the disc using PB. I thought I will start a new thread and make people aware if thats a problem with others too.
I checked the install disc on a PC. And heck it shows only BootCamp files. The drive is labeled as BootCamp and upon exploring it shows documentation folder (does not have any English doc folder although there are some folders with weird symbols), driver folder, autorun, Bootcamp installation pdf, a word file (saying that This disc is for bootcamp only installation on Intel systems) and SetUp file (clicking which again brings the BootCamp set up). No mention of Leopard or any associated file or at least an installation pdf describing leopard and its features. What the heck? How is that possible. At least some mention should be there. I guess that could be the problem that the disc contains only bootcamp and therefore its not picked up by the system.
