Hi. I just installed an SSD Samsung Evo 840 on mid 2012 Macbook Pro with El Capitain. I have Komplete 8 Ultimate software and tried to install it on my Macbook, but I keep getting an error message saying there is no software to be found to install. I removed the usb drive and plugged it into my iMac 2010 upgraded also to El Capitain and it works just fine. I'm a musician and will need my Macbook on Wednesday so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you're using an older installer of Komplete 8. Common issue. NI still have a mound of issues with El Cap, that's why I'm still on Yosemite and don't plan to upgrade any time soon.

It may be worth you manually dragging the apps from your iMac onto your MacBook Pro, and then attempt to open/activate them from there. Failing that, hopefully Native Instruments' tech team will have an updated installer.
