Installation of JVC GR-D70 software on mac 10.5.4

My imac G5 is running on OS 10.5.4. I have a JVC GR-D70 Digital video camera. When I try to install the software for the camera the pop up says cannot install because the Classic environment is no longer supported. What should I do?

I have found new software for installation of Windows but having trouble finding anything for mac.

Maybe it's easier to get an SD card reader. They are found for around 5€.

The video can be still transferred via Firewire, without the need of drivers.

I work for JVC and would like to help.

Spinnerlys is correct. There is no software to install. Video can be transferred via Firewire. All you need is the correct Firewire cable. Digital stills are standard jpeg files and can be transfered via USB, or using an SD card reader.
