Hello everyone, I'm new to mac and to this forum...I have a software usb interface that I have, to help me connect my microphone to record in garageband. the software I have is Focusrite Saffire 6, I put the cd in to install software , and its says installing this software requires 774 kb of space...but it says 293.82 gb is free. However, after I install it and go through process..I dont see the software anywhere on my computer...can anybody help...

Installation of Usb interface software question...

Odds are it's a driver, and so doesn't install any visible user interface, except maybe a preference pane to control it in System Preferences. That does not mean it isn't working!
