Ok I Installed OS X 10.5 from a PPC G4 mac to an external HD. When i formatted the drive i use the Apple Partition Map, which Disk Utility say it need to be use for start up of a PPC mac. The problem is that once i finish installing OS X the mac won't start and the installer gives me a problem saying that i cannot start the mac from this disk.

The weird thing is that if i connect that external Hd to my intel MacBook, i can start it up with no problem even if from disk utility i can see that the disk is formatted for PPC and not Intel.

What can i do to solve my problme? I need this external disk to boot on a PPC mac not on my Intel Mac.

Yes but there is a difference in the partition Map. If you go into disk utlity, the partition, select 1 partition for example and then Option yuo have 3 option:

GUID partition Map, to use for starting up an Intel Mac
Apple Parttion Map, to use to start up a PPC Mac
the third one is for DOS
