Sorry if this has already been asked a million times.
So I haven't jail broken an iDevice since 3G and don't know what changed.
I went on jailbreakme.com and installed Cydia on my iPad 2, now I can't delete it.
Does jailbreak not require redsn0w and all those steps on the computer anymore?

Thanks in advance!

By going to jailbreakme, you jailbroke you ipad and therefore thats why you have cydia. You can still jailbreak through redsnow and blackrain etc but this new one created by comex ( http://twitter.com/#!/comex ) is way simpler than anything else.

Damn so my iPad is now jailbroken, should've been a little careful before I hit e install button haha, didn't know it was this simple to jailbreak nowadays.

Thanks!

If you don't want to be jailbroken (God knows why), just restore in iTunes.

But since you are jailbroken, might as well play around and read through forums. There are a lot of nice apps in Cydia to unlock the potential of the iPad. We're all here to help. Just specify that you're a noob so you don't get flamed too hard.
