Ok my first experience of replacing those things, was not easy, soo worried I would damage it, and even worse when I read in the manual (for the first time) that those things are not covered in the warranty!

But it's fine, graphics is working, everything is detected in system profiler, except the second optical drive.

The eject button on the keyboard does nothing... and the top drive (old one) ejected as soon as I booted up, not sure what's wrong with it?

I didn't screw the second opt drive in, because it didn't come with screws...

But I plugged it in, anything I've missed?

Kind Regards

It needs to be screwed in. The Mac Pro comes with extra screws built right into the optical bay cage. Remove the cage and look at the other side. You will see 4 Mac Pro custom matching screws. Kewl huh?!?!
