Installed Intel X25-M in my 2010 13"

There's a photo when I kept it in the HDD bay to update the firmware first.

Used the ayagroup.com $20 2.5" caddy instead of Optibay, works great!

Re-routed the home folder in advanced User settings, copied all the data using Carbon Copy Cloner.

Also got a $13 sata external for the SuperDrive, works well too.

Man this computer flies, and it is whisper quiet. LOVE IT!

So you currently have the SSD in the optibay with a regular HD in the main Hard drive bay?

That's what I'm planning on doing. =]

Yep it's fantastic! Recommend it over the Momentus XT (I had that too, read that thread) .

Good for you! I'm sure there is no contest between the X25 and Momentus XT. Personally I'm holding out for a reasonable priced 200GB+ X25 then I'm dumping platters completely.

I've got the Intel X-25M 160 GB G1 in my i7 but if this OWC SSD drive works properly I'll be swapping it out for that and it may return in the form of a bay instead of the Optical drive.
