Installed iOS 5 GM, and I have a question about iMessages

Won't iMessage screw somebody who doesn't want to be a 5% user on his data plan?

Lets say I send a lot of pictures through the messaging app. Does iOS 5 automatically put my pictures via MMS only when I'm using 3G so I don't use any data? I'd like to have iMessage only work when I'm on Wifi.

Oh I know it's highly unlikely, but I'm trying to point out a potential flaw in the implementation of iMessage, regardless of how rarely it could happen.

You'd have to send lots and lots of pictures to be within your carrier's top 5% of data users. Lots.

Or you could just use WiFi.

Yeah it probably is, but I know somebody is going to blow it with their iMessage quota.
