Installed iOS 9.1 on iphone 6, now text-to-speech is too fast

Can anyone else confirm this? Text to speech in every app (mail, line, etc) are now unintelligibly fast after installing iOS 9.1.

Have you tried adjusting its options in the accessibility section of settings?

disregard, fixed it from the accessibility --> speech menu. Weird how they changed it though. Almost like they heard the complaints about 9.0 being laggy, and then just cranked up all the settings.
