Installed Leopard and now iChat is not working

So i was using the OS before Leopard, I think that was tiger or something? Anyhow, I just installed Leopard and now my ichat isnt working. The Prompt I get says, 'You cannot use this version of the application ichat with this version of mac os X'

what the heck does this mean and how can i fix it asap?
