I've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver using my Snow Lep discs I have a mid 2010 17 MBP.

This is so annoying. I haven't used win7 in about 6 months, then hop on to install visual basics studio and the adaptor doesn't work, won't connect to any networks and can not fix it's self.

Any ideas? Works great on Lion...so it's not hardware.

What do you see in Device Manager? Is your adapter highlighted somehow that indicates it isn't working?

Any reason you are staying away from the Boot Camp 4.0 drivers that Lion provides?

Where are those drivers? I'm sure that will fix my problem. I was just unaware of the Lion drivers.

I had win7 already on my mac then upgraded to lion. So would it have updated that or do I need to do it?

EDIT: found what you were talking about with the new drivers in boot camp assistant. everything is working great now. thank you
