Had the 120 since I bought my new beauty, I have to admit that I was a little concerned with cracking her open... But with the help of IFixit.com instructions and buying a enclosure and backing the new drive up with the old one before I installed... All is well.. Running 320 is nice I must say!!:D So jump in if you have been thinking about more space!

I just upgraded mine from 160GB to a 320GB Seagate Momentus. I'm very pleased with the result.
The new hard drive is much faster, obviously due to the much higher storage density and it being a better drive all round. :):)

Installation is a PITA huh. Did you have any unique screw-management strategies (this is a classic, right?)? Is this a 7200 RPM drive? Is it noisy in use?

SMS: Yes, taped the screws to the instructions for each section from IFixit.

NO the drive is faster and quieter then the original.

PITA: not at all, if you have been inside a puter before, piece of cake...
