I just jailbroke my ipod touch and I notice that cydia has a lot (atleast 20) of installed packages already (under manage), is it ok to uninstall these or does cydia need them to function properly?

i would leave them till you know what they do. not just cydia could mess up. alot of programs you might want might need them also.

I bit the bullet and upgraded yesterday. It took me a few minutes to get the hang of Cydia. Its coding setup is really great. Just do the upgrades.

I have changed all my icons, dock and when the springboard app is updated, I will have my Touch back as it was in 1.1.4. So far no problems.
