hi folks, I hastily installed Ubuntu per my sister's request. Neither of us are computer geeks, how ever she does some programming and a colleague of her's recommended it. I installed Ubuntu on her Intel iMac from a disk and ran boot camp. All seemed fine as I chose the option of installing it side-by-side. However, once in Ubuntu, I cannot boot back into OS X. I get the option to load either 32 or 64 bit OS X, however, the system hangs. I'd like to avoid my sister's wrath, so any help would be appreciated.

Do you have the recovery disks... if so use them. Then try installing your Linux in something like a virtual box... Sun has a free one that is quite good called virtual box I think.

Good luck...
