So I just installed watchOS 10 on my Series 7 Hermes after updating my iPhone 13 mini to iOS 17.
Never had the betas installed.

All my existing watch faces have lost their complications and I can't seem to get them back. They're still listed as options when configuring a watch face, but they don't show on the little preview in the Watch.app on the phone, nor do they show on the watch face themselves.

Anyone see something similar?

For me they are visible in the app and on the watch. However, it took some time before they re-appeared on the watch and in the app it took quite some time.

(the complications, I only use the Infograph face)

Yes, mine are gone as well. I have powered down both the phone and my Ultra to no avail.

EDIT: Watch App on Phone= Display and Brightness > Always on> Show Complications Data (Had to turn this on and everything is back...for the time being)

It takes a while, then they appear. Im more annoyed they changed some of them BACK to different styles. Like timer.

On your phone, go to watch app -> Display and Brightness -> Always On -> Show Complications Data

Then turn on the apps that have the complications data. That worked for me.

Is this for the issue I mentioned? Its not necessarily that it doesnt appear when its being used. it just defaults to the app icon. It used to (the timer complication) show the last prior set timer

my Weather (the stock app) used to show low/Hi and actual temp - doesn't do that anymore ;(
tried the various suggestions above, changed the location settings back and forth ... nothing ;(

Turn the crown up. It’s still there. Doesn’t seem to default to that, though.

the complication is still there, just not showing the temp, and where the actual temp used to be, there's now a white "text box" ...
see the complication in the bottom left

Look for my post earlier in the thread. Turn on “Weather”. That should fix it. It did mine.
you mean this:
On your phone, go to watch app -> Display and Brightness -> Always On -> Show Complications Data
Then turn on the apps that have the complications data. That worked for me.

done that, more than once actually, not working. next step is to reboot watch

Sorry it didn’t work. Maybe set that complication to something else, then back again. My temp display was doing what your pic shows. It’s working after turning “Weather” complication on.

well, rebooted and it is working now ... appreciate your help!

I think this is a separate problem: even with all settings as described above, some complications aren't available in the list of complications - for example, Alarms. Alarms is listed and turned on under "Show Complication Data." Nevertheless, it's not even a choice for any watch face. Suggstions?

Reboot watch - that solved my problem

ON my watch I did not do anything but touch the non showing weather complication and then I waited on the weather app to show my current location. Once that was done I returned to the watch face and it show the complication
Definitely something wonky going on with the weather app, as I said above, ended up rebooting and all good

Yeah just that some bugs will show up. I just did what I described and my watch and the wife’s series 8 did different on the weather app. The wife’s watch a 41 MM series 8 had to be rebooted as just touching the weather app failed. Then it showed with no issue after the reboot

This!!! Thank you so much for pointing this out. I switched in on right away. I thought this was a bug. I can't believe how ugly they designed it, simple white squares to cover the complications 🤦‍♂️

My last view stock does not show the numbers is just shows: DOW

Rebooting Fixed it! All is good now.

Heart rate on watch face complication is not updating like it used to. Sometimes 30 minutes to show latest.
Upper and lower heart rate reading has gotten much smaller. I hate these updates!

Reboot watch - that solved my problem
Thanks - I had tried that a few times (the phone, too) without any change, but overnight the few that were missing (the Timer app was also missing, in addition to the Alarm app) magically populated on the complications list. Kinda odd - possibly rebooting had a delayed impact? - but the problem has gone away. 👍

So I guess my addition to your good advice would be to be patient if the missing complications don't show up immediately after rebooting.
