I thought this to be really clever on my part, and I was proud of myself... and I wanted to share it with those that I love, so....

I made these! The idea is for those of you have jailbroken, use one of these icons to replace the installer.app icon! (I still think this to be oh so creative!)

Let me know what you think and if I should try to make more colors?

How do I replace the default Installer Icon?
I cannot speak to the Mac platform, but on Windows, just follow these steps:
  • Download the desired icon file and rename it to icon.png
  • Fire up any of a number of file transfer applications like WinSCP or FileZilla
  • Connect using port 22
  • Navigate to the Applications Directory
  • Drill down into the desired application directory, in this case Installer.app
  • Replace the icon.png file
Any application icon can be changed using this method.

Or if you have Summerboard just w.e theme you are using go in its directery....but first download the AppStore icon you want rename it to Installer.png....after that upload it to the theme icon folder you are using :)

ohh yea make sure you restart springboard :)

you could do that with an app or turn your ipod off back on :)

Excellent thanks, worked a treat using Transmit on my iMac. Just needed to install OpenSSH first.

I'm not sure if anyone took my advice and changed Real Artist.app to TouchFX.app, but I did end up making an icon... here it is, enjoy.
