Whenever I go to install an app and I run into Installer Vise (or Vise X), I wonder why would a developer choose to install their application via Installer Vise/Vise X instead of Mac OS X's standard Installer?

This is just some general questions I have about it:

1) Are there any features that Installer Vise/Vise X has that Installer lacks?

2) Isn't Installer the best experience for end users to get a developer's app on their system?

3) Does anyone prefer Installer Vise/Vise X over Installer?

I never worked with it so this is what i know...
1) it allows you to ran a terminal command as you install, you can install things in many different places.
2)Yes and No, depends on the app
3)I use installer, but again depends on the app you want to deploy
