Installing 6-GB ram in MP - Best configuration?

Hey, I have

TWO - 1gb sticks
and
TWO - 2gb sticks
equaling 6gb

Can i install 6gb? Whats the best configuration on the board? Would you just recommend getting 8 total?

It's simple really.

2 X 2GB in the top riser, slots A and B
2 X 1GB go in bottom riser, slots A and B

Of course, if you can afford it, 8GB is better than 6GB.
8GB will fill in a couple more slots which will make your processors more efficient but probably not enough that you will see a difference.

I just installed 4 more gb and did the same as instructed -- all works well.
