Installing a PPD file

I have a Sipix A6 thermal printer that I want to use with my macbook pro. The problem is there are only windows drivers out there for it. I found a PPD file and have no clue as to how to the mac to recognize the printer and the PPD file. Is there an easy way to get it working?
