Hello,

my husband has a powerbook G4 and I tried to install a webcam on it for his video conferences (which if successful will let him acquire macbook air and iSight in the near future:)) but for now...his webcam is not transmitting the image to the other person's computer. I have reinstalled the mac webcam driver many times and no positive results so far.

Any ideas,please?

What webcam do you have? More info would be helpful. If your using Skype, there are only a few cams that will work. Did you check out Skype to see if your cam was compatible?

Here is the link for the webcam I have:http://www.bluescale.co.uk/Shop/webcam_for_mac/webcam_mac_5_1_megapixel_night_vision_webcam_mac.asp
It is Skype compatible.
The thing is that I made it work on the first day. Gladly announced "the news" to my husband and left the handling of the rest(=use) to "his mercy". In the evening I found out that it didn't work anymore:confused:
