Sadly, I need to be able to run Vista on my MBP (curse the windows only applications of this world). Is it ok if I get an OEM copy of Vista to install? They're much cheaper, but is it a violation of the user agreement or something? Could Microsoft invalidate my copy?

I'm pretty sure OEM is just for system builders and means that it can't be moved to another machine. So say you install it on your pc, you cant go and install it on your mac. Im pretty sure you can install it on your mac no problem, just you cant install it on another machine.

also why vista? you can't use xp?
