Installing an old OS on a new Mac

I'm thinking about getting a new MacBook Pro with the Retina Display. It'd be nice to have a 10.6 partition. Is it possible to install Snow Leopard on one of these without any problems in the end? I currently have a white MacBook with a Lion, and a Snow Leopard partition.

Nope. Snow Leopard lacks the driver support for the new MBPs with retina.

The furthest SL goes is the 2011 machines with the exception of the Airs.
