iPod touch installing apps and syncing music takes forever

Hey guys, I have the first iPod touch 16 GB and lately putting content on it (especially apps) has been ridiculously slow. Is this the iPod or the computer i'm running it on. If it's the iPod it's really no problem because I'll get the 4th one when it's released.

Try it on another computer. That will answer your question.

Make sure you backup your iPod before you sync with another computer. Might be a long shot but have you considered using a different 30-pin dock connector or USB 2.0 port?
