Just wondering when installing Big Sur on a separate volume, is the media shared or can it be shared so that media and programs are updated seamlessly through every action etc? I tried installing on a separate volume and it asked if I wanted to migrate/transfer is if it was a new/fresh install. I’m trying my best to resist the temptation to install on my main volume. if I have to transfer 1TB of music and all of my programs it seems a bit tedious. please let me know how most of you guys are installing. any daily drivers risking it all?
