Installing blank Lion - ilife?

Hi, I plan to install Lion (blank install using Apple Lion USB). Does this DVD contain new versions of iLife? Or do I have to install them later from my original App DVD (will that work? will Lion allow me to install those apps from App DVD that was for Snow Leo?)?

The Lion install USB does not include new versions of iLife. iLife is not included with new OS versions, it is only included with the purchase of a Mac. You will be able to install the iLife version from your SL restore discs just fine onto Lion once you have it installed.

I just bought a refurbished "early 2011" MBP from Amazon and it didn't come with any discs, but the laptop does have 10.7.2 installed. I cant find iLife on it though.

Wondering what my options are ?
