Hi guys,
as some of you are probably aware, late 2007 MacBook Pros have Intel ICH8-M controller possibly supporting up to 3 gbits/s transfer speed on SATA link.
However Apple seems to have this interface crippled down to 1.5 gbit/s tops.
So I was wondering if there is any way to trick my almost 3 year old MBP to install EFI 1.8 update, or maybe force it to load some kext during boot so that I woud get 3 gbit/s "negotiated" link speed with newly installed Intel X25M G2 SSD?
