I have an original intel IMAC, if i buy a new macbook, will I be able to install Leopard, Ilife 08 etc from the factory disks on my old IMAC?

Nope. The discs are machine specific and it would also be breaking the SLA.

don't care about the sla, however you don't have the option to pick programs to install? The disc won't read in any other computer is what you are saying?

No.

No, and stop asking Macrumors members how to circumvent the law. It's against forum rules and it isn't taken well around here. If you want to find out how to pirate software or other unethical practices, search somewhere else.

If you're buying a new MacBook, it'll come with Leopard and iLife 08. Pre-installed, and on discs. So, why would you need to use the discs from your iMac?
