Installing Flash Player 9 and Wireless Internet Problems

When i try and install flash player 9 i get an error message that states that i don't have enough access privileges to install it. I have 2 accounts both administrator and i can install everything else fine, any have a solution to this?

Secondly i have a wireless router that is 'not compatible' with macs, came free with my isp, only way i can get on the internet is through Ethernet connection, simply wont connect wi-fi, is the only way around this to get a new router?
