Installing Interent Explorer on OSX 10.6.4 with Wine

Hi,

I have been trying to install IE7 on OSX10.6.4 using WineSkin and not being very successful.

I need IE to access a website for my IACC program here in Australia and do not want to have to use bootcamp to use one website.

Help? Does anyone have a tutorial or a guide that will run me through the steps to be successful?

Wine will not work with IE7. I have the same issue and use Parralels desktop. Works fine.

Have you tried enabling the Develop menu in Safari and changing your User Agent to IE? That works for sites that are merely doing a browser check.

I had not. I just tried it and was unsuccessful.

WineBottler works better than any other solution right now for running IE 7 on Mac OS X without Windows. However, it's still buggy - the upcoming 1.2 stable release should help matters, though.
