I'm trying to install iOS 5 on my iPad 2 but having some trouble. When I alt-click Restore and choose the iOS 5 firmware, it'll say "extracting software" then kick me into recovery mode. Attempting to then restore to iOS 5 results in "extracting software" and displaying the firmware update progress bar on the iPad but it doesn't move, meaning I have to hard power off, power on (which loads recovery mode) then trying to restore to 4.3.2, which works.

Anyone seen this issue before installing iOS 5?

Turns out it was an iTunes issue as I couldn't even restore from 4.3.3 back to stock 4.3.3. Reinstalling iTunes and restarting the computer helped.
