Currently on my Mac Pro (2.66Ghz) I have two hard drives. One contains Leopard and the other hd is used for Time Machine back-ups.

I want to add another hard drive that will contain Leopard and Windows XP using Bootcamp.

After I install Leopard on the newer hard drive how can I choose which hard drive to boot from? Also, on a bad day I want to boot to the XP partition on the new drive - how will that be handled?

Thanks.

Hold down the option(alt) key while booting. You will be presented with a screen giving you icons and names for each of your drives and/or CD/DVD that are bootable. Use the mouse or arrow keys to select the drive you wish to boot and press enter.

Using the startup preferences pane you can select which drive will be the default to be booted if you don't hold the option key down after powering up.
