Okay, I've had Leopard for almost two months now, and I've finally decided to install it.

However, I still need to use Photoshop, and all I have is version 7, so I cannot do a simple upgrade. I've decided to wipe my external drive (250GB FW) and then partition it--one partition for Leopard to reside on and the other partition to use as my backup/external storage drive.

How much should the partition for Leopard be?

It all depends on the number of applications you want to run alongside Leopard.

30-40 GB would be safe for the operating system and a few applications.
