Ok, so my friend has Leo on her laptop, and she was going to lend me the disk to install it on mine. Which is running tiger. Now, is this possiable, to install HER copy of the CD onto mine, or not?

I've heard many differant things, like it will delete my enter HD. Is that true?

Please help if you can.. thank you :)

Phil

Legal, no, and further if they are the gray discs that came with her Mac, then they will not work. Those only work for the same model and revision.

I'm going to say no because it would seem that she would be giving you the gray disks that came with hers, which won't work on a computer with different specs. If it is the generic Leopard disk, the only way to install it legally is for it to happen to be a family pack and you live with her.
