I have a mbp 2,2 (Late 2006) 4GB Ram, 120GB HD, 2.3 Intel Core 2 duo. Since a few months ago, for some reason my mac turns very slow when I have 2 or 3 apps turned on (usually: Itunes, chrome and Illustrator, sometimes quicktime instead of itunes).
Not only that, chrome kills my internet or makes the mac goes zombie-slow.
I wanted to install lion, but I have read that it will make my mac even slower because it takes more memory.
I have installed Lion on another macbook (7,7 2010, 4gb ram, 320Gb SSD, 4.4 intel core 2 duo). and is working fine, although I haven't install nor use those apps at the same time.
Should I stay on SL or upgrade to Lion?
