I want to upgrade to Lion on my 2 year old MB Pro, I downloaded the install app for it and it didnt want to install to the SSD drive (which Snow Leopard is currently on) which surprised me - it said "This disk doesnt use the GUID Partition Tabel scheme. Use Disk Utility to change the partition scheme. Select the disk, choose the Partition tab, select the Volume Scheme and then click Options." So presumably I can run both OS's off the SSD drive if I want ? If I dont want to do that and just run Lion how do I install it onto the SSD ? If I do do that will Lion run with all my normal (SL) apps and home folder ? I have also replaced my Superdrive with a hard drive just in case that helps.
