Hi,

I've recently downloaded what i thought was Windows 7 from MSDNAA. I actual fact i have been given the downloader to download windows 7. The downloader is an .exe file which i can't run on my mac (that i know of).

Can anyone offer any suggestions on how i can go about downloading windows 7 so that i can install in on my macbook. Currently, i am trailing Parallels so that is would i am wanting to use to emulate my windows 7.

Many thanks,
Chalky

Try downloading the ISO from the link provided in the thread and use the key provided by MSDNAA.

What you have is an upgrade intended for installation over XP or Vista.

Worst case, install the ISO downloaded above in Parallels without a product key and use THAT to run the EXE you have.

I would also recommend that you not activate your install until you are sure if you are sticking with Parallels or not (don't enter a product key).
