Hey everyone,
I'm planning on putting a bigger hard drive in my Macbook. Currently I have an external hard drive running Time Machine backing up my Macbook, which runs Snow Leopard. The problem is, my brother has my Snow Leopard DVD, so I only have access to my Leopard DVD. Is it possible to install the new hard drive, format it using the Leopard DVD and THEN restore from my Snow Leopard Time Machine? I believe it's as simple as selecting restore from Time Machine in the Leopard DVD utilities drop down, but will I have issues restoring a Snow Leopard system from the regular Leopard DVD?
Thanks in advance!
