I recently got my mbp with the base config. so I bought ram and an hdd. I know that they are both coming tomorrow and I know a phillips 00 is needed to remove the back and a Torx T6 is required to remove the screws on the hdd. But I couldn't find a T6 in my travels today because everything closed early sans walmart. Think there is anyway to get the screws off without having a T6 nearby?

Thanks,
Nik

The T6 is used for the HD. Unless you can fit a flat head into it, there'd be no other way to mount the HD securely.

Good luck! Remember the 3 screws on the bottom closest to you are removed/inserted on an angle.

wait until you can buy it...you dont want to strip those screws and not be able to get them out
