Installing new SSD from bad drive

i have a mid 2011 that has a 250ssd. Looking to increase my storage but when I did a clone from either super duper or carbon copy it copies 75% then tells me there is a read error or something like that. The weird part is the data appears intact, system boots, etc.

What's my best way to tackle the new drive?
