Hello,

I have an Aluminum iMac from late 2007 and a new 15" MacBook Pro that I purchased on August 26th.

I ordered the Snow Leopard $29.99 Upgrade for the iMac and the $9.99 Up-to-Date version for the MacBook Pro earlier this week. Both were ordered at the same time however I only received the Upgrade I ordered for the iMac. The Up-to-Date version hasn't shipped yet.

My question is can I install the upgrade disk I received today on both the iMac and the MacBook since I have ordered two licenses or would I need to wait until I receive the Up-to-Date disk for the MacBook?

I am fine either way and want to be sure I am doing the right thing.

Thank you,

Michael

Yes, it will work. And since you have licenses for both, your conscience should be clear as well.

Legally speaking, you aren't supposed to use the $29 disk to install on 2 computers. That said, since you paid for 2 copies, I personally believe that it is okay to install it on both computers for 2 reasons:
1)You did pay for 2 copies of Snow Leopard
2)Apple didn't send the UTD disk on time, as I was led to believe they promised.

I am in the same position that you are, and I am now running Snow Leopard on both machines.

Excellent! Thank you. I appreciate the quick reply :)

Michael
